Ray Ballard is the current head honcho! Ray became interested in brewing when he first tried Samuel Adams in the early 90's. His enjoyment of beers with more flavor led him to pursue home brewing, where he fell in love with the process and the freedom to create beers that are as unique or as similar to others that he liked. Ray Ballard is the current head honcho! Ray became interested in brewing when he first tried Samuel Adams in the early 90's. His enjoyment of beers with more flavor led him to pursue home brewing, where he fell in love with the process and the freedom to create beers that are as unique or as similar to others that he liked. After starting with premixed kits, Ray quickly elevated his home brew game to all grain brewing, which afforded him ever greater control of his craft. After winning many medals in home brew competitions, Ray co-founded his first commercial brewery in Connecticut in 2000. After three years, Ray returned to Ohio and became a Registered Nurse, which he has been for 10 years. During his nursing tenure he never lost interest in brewing and knew he would eventually make his return to the beer business. Y Bridge Brewing is his triumphant return to the Craft Brew Industry!

The Brewery consists of
20 barrel brewhouse
five 40 barrel fermenters
40 barrel brite tank
We also have a 2 barrel specialty beer and test batch system.

The taproom is the perfect place to sample the beers of Y Bridge Brewing. We have 18 taps that feature our main line of beers plus new creations. This is also a place to experiments with new flavors, watch the game and catch up with friends.
We have food trucks onsite throughout the year or you can carry in or have your food delivered from one of Zanesville's many fine restaurants.
